The best thing I saw today!

I saw Bill Gates dancing with Roger Federer, Really??

I woke up at 10 and thank god stock market is closed for three days and I got spare time to explore something not related to stocks.

I am big fan of Bill Gates, not because he is the richest man in the world but because this man can literally do anything he wants. He is not just Bill Gates, he is more than that.

  1. At the age of 62, his net worth is 92.5 billion USD or 58,83,46,25,00,000 Indian Rupee (2018).
  2. In his spare time, he takes a walk with Warren Buffett and gets a well needed shut eye in Warren owned America’s largest home furnishing store. That’s cool.

3) Accepted ice bucket challenge from Mark Zuckerberg and this.

4) He reads about 50 books per year, which breaks down to 1 per week. He says “Each book opens up new avenues of knowledge to explore”.

5) When he launched ‘Ask me anything’ on Reddit for his fifth Ask Me Anything
I saw the world’s richest person dancing again. I think he likes to dance.

6) During an interview with NDTV and Aamir Khan he shared that he does social activities for the sake of his own satisfaction.

7) He celebrated his Dad’s 90th birthday with a special video and shared some of the his greatest memories with his dad. Bill, you are awesome.

8) Being richest man on earth who cares about shit smelling areas where people are dying from lack of hygiene. Well he does. Gates collaborated with a flavor company based in Geneva and resolved this issue of poop smelling rural areas of India and other countries. Bill, you are more than awesome.

9) He has given away over $27 billion throughout his life through the charitable organization he runs with his wife Melinda Gates. He also pledged to give 99% of his wealth to charitable causes throughout his life. His children can inherit only $10 Million each. Bill, You are the most generous person on earth.

10) When Steve Jobs was dying of cancer, Gates wrote him a letter and he kept it beside his bed. He said ‘We are not at war, we make great products and competition is always positive thing’

11) At his wedding to Melinda French, Bill Gates charted every helicopter on the island and booked up the entire hotel so no journalist could eavesdrop.

12) Gates’s home has a super intelligent operating system that can be customized by his guests if you’re lucky enough to be invited into his Washington estate nicknamed Xanadu 2.0 you’re asked to wear a pin badge which will adjust lighting temperature and music according to your liking.

Owning such an incredible house comes at a price he’s paying 1 million dollars per year.

13) He recently financed a machine that turns poop into water and drank the recycled water in a live show with Jimmy Fallon.

Building fortune for ourselves is hard but what actually matters is how efficiently we are using and how we manage it so that it can make us happy, every time!
I am glad to visit Gates notes everyday and learn something new.
